Cards are paid on Stripe’s own secure checkout, certified to PCI DSS Level 1 — the highest standard in the payments industry, independently audited every year. Your card number never touches our servers.
Strong Customer Authentication
European card payments meet PSD2 Strong Customer Authentication, with 3D Secure 2 verification handled seamlessly at checkout.
Verified organisers
Money only reaches an organiser once they’ve passed Stripe’s identity (KYC) and anti-money-laundering checks.
Licensed payouts
Payouts run on Stripe’s financial licences — an Electronic Money Institution licence in Europe and the UK, and FinCEN registration with Money Transmitter Licences in the US — so you don’t need your own.
Safeguarded funds
Ticket revenue is held by Stripe in regulated, safeguarded accounts and paid out straight to your own bank account.
Encrypted & private
Every payment travels over HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or higher, and Stripe handles payment data under GDPR in Europe and the CCPA/CPRA in California.
